Tony Shhnow has been releasing music at a head-turning pace since he dropped his debut mixtape, Da World Is Ours, in 2019. Late the following year, the Cobb County, Georgia rapper entered hip-hop's public eye with Kill Streak, a 13-track album that fused his off-kilter bars with boom-bap beats disrupted by jarring samples of the guy who shouts the record's titular phrase when you're doing well in Halo.

13 months and four tapes later, he's back with that project's follow-up. Eight of its 12 tracks were leaked and uploaded to Youtube last month, but the newly retooled and extended Kill Streak 2 (Deluxe) packs a powerful punch, and it's only the beginning: Shhnow plans to release a new song every week this year and says his next three mixtapes will drop in the spring and summer.
