Kate Middleton & Prince William Learn How To Make Chocolate at a Different Farm in Belize Following Protests
justjared.comPrince William tries his hand at a bit of cocoa making during a visit to the Che’il Mayan Chocolate Factory on Sunday (March 20) in Indian Creek, Belize.
The Duke of Cambridge, and his wife, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, stopped by the farm to see the process of making chocolate and to meet the local farmers.
The visit to the farm comes just after their other planned visit in the same area was cancelled amid protests of their visit.
Villagers had been seen around Indian Creek during the past week with signs saying, “Prince William leave our land.” According to People, the Duke and Duchess were happy to continue with their planned visit to the sustainable farm in the foothills of the Maya Mountains and talk to the indigenous people at the heart of the dispute, but the local Belizian authorities advised against it. William and Kate arrived just yesterday in the Caribbean, and put on a rare public display of affection.
