John Le Carré’s heartbroken widow Valerie Jane Eustace has sadly passed away three months after the famed author. Jane as she was known, married the Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Sailor author in 1972, and was 82 when according to a family spokesperson she passed away at their home in Cornwall last week.
Her cause of death has not been made public but the spokesperson did say that she passed away peacefully last Saturday. Like her husband, Jane enjoyed a successful career in the world of literature as a book editor with Hodder & Stoughton.
