Detailing their heartbreak in joint autobiography When Harry Met Sandra, Sandra bravely told how she had been working at the salon and couldn’t get a bus home to Barking in deepest, darkest winter.
As she walked home in the thick snow, Sandra recalls how she lost feeling in her hands and feet and, feeling very unwell, knew she had suffered a miscarriage.
In an exclusive chat with OK! , Sandra explained why she chose this moment to speak about their loss. She said: “Harry was away playing football when I had the miscarriage.
