The charity match was held at the Etihad in Manchester and saw former stars return to the pitch including Wayne Rooney, Paul Scholes, Roberto Carlos and Clarence Seedorf.

The fixture was a sell out but as the game kicked off hundreds were still queuing outside at the ticket office. Among them was Robert Nieri who travelled to Manchester with his family from Chester.

He says when he bought his tickets through the Soccer Aid website he got a receipt from See Tickets with a note that e-tickets would follow.
