One of the major reasons why the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) fans were in a state of grief as Tony Stark breathed his last in Avengers: Endgame is because of what Robert Downey Jr. made of Iron Man, over a decade and more. Marvelites have always loved and appreciated the unbreakable bond that the marvel actors share in real life, especially with RDJ. His co-stars are always gushing about working with him and keep praising the actor for being fun and supportive towards his fellow actors. However, Terrence apparently had a totally different experience. He accused the Marvel star of throwing him out of MCU after they worked together in Iron Man.

Robert Downey Jr. is always going to be loved as the ultimate Iron Man aka Tony Stark and well, rightly so. The actor made his Marvel debut many many years ago and ever since, he has been a part of multiple films and the last of it all was Avengers: Endgame which definitely had everyone's heart for the longest time since its release. The movie managed to break multiple records and even today, it continues to receive so much love given the fanfare it enjoys.

He might don the hat of Dolittle and Sherlock Holmes but Robert Downey Jr will always be Iron Man. The actor helped Marvel Studios establish the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Iron Man in 2008. Since his debut into MCU, RDJ has appeared in several Marvel movies including Captain America: Civil War, Spider-Man: Homecoming and Avengers: Infinity War before he took a bow in Avengers: Endgame. But before he kissed Tony Stark goodbye, the actor hosted a hilarious recruitment event for Indian fans in 2019. 

Marvel Cinematic Universe fans thought there is no turning back for Robert Downey Jr. The actor kissed MCU goodbye with Avengers: Endgame. He also moved on with Dolittle. Just when Marvel fans made peace with RDJ's exit, reports hinted his return. Speculations have been doing the rounds suggesting the Iron Man is eyeing an MCU return, especially after Dolittle's debacle. Recent reports have hinted that RDJ has been in talks with Marvel Studios over a possible return. However, his hefty cheque is not letting the deal come through.

Tony Stark, in particular, made the ultimate sacrifice as he gave up his own life to defeat Thanos and bring back the ones turned to dust.
