Furious Scottish referees have been branded an "afterthought" following crisis talks with the SFA over the handling of the Rangers and Willie Collum row.

The Ibrox club clashed with the SFA over the decision not to award them a penalty for handball against Alistair Johnston in their December 30 showdown with Celtic.

The club held crunch talks where a delegation listened to the audio after Collum didn't call whistler Nick Walsh over to the screen to review a potential handball.

A war of statements has ensued with the SFA firmly rejecting Rangers' version of events at how the meeting went. A delegation of whistlers were then granted the chance to meet with the governing body on Sunday (January 13) over several issues including the use of VAR in the Scottish Premiership.
