Iceland is giving away a further £1million to certain shoppers struggling with the cost of living. The chain is set to give away 40,000 food vouchers to certain pensioners - including those in Greater Manchester.
Earlier this month, the supermarket released a number of £30 vouchers to eligible pensioners to help them with essential shopping costs, and more have become available following further funding.
Shoppers who can access the voucher are being encouraged to apply as soon as possible, the Mirror reports, as they’ll be able on a first come, first served basis. To qualify for the voucher, you must be of state pension age, living independently or with a carer and relying solely on state pensions and benefits.
