After getting to know one another and being willing to act like an engaged couple in an attempt to win a free holiday, the young couple became smitten with one another and decided to make their engagement official.
But the news didn't go down well with Dev Alahan and Kelly's guardians, Maria Connor and Gary Windass, when they found out. As minors, Kelly and Aadi (played by Adam Hussain) need their permission to get hitched in England, prompting the wayward teens to look into other places where they can walk down the aisle without anybody's approval.
