Gillian McKeith has been labelled a "contraband queen" after she revealed that she had smuggled salt into the I'm A Celebrity...

Get Me Out Of Here! jungle, breaking the show's rules for the second time. The TV star, 63, previously smuggled salt into the Australian jungle during her first appearance on the show back in 2010, when she was caught with it hidden in her underwear.

Bringing her old tricks to the South African camp in the show's all-star series, titled I'm A Celebrity... South Africa, Gillian told fellow campmate Helen Flanagan that she had once again smuggled salt into the camp.

Viewers were quick to take to Twitter to share their reaction to the controversy, which would soon cause a divide in camp. One fan of Gillian's antics wrote: "She’s at it again…. [three laughing emojis] the Contraband Queen!!!", and a second added: "Gillian at it again sneaking stuff in brilliant #ImACelebrity." However, some viewers accused ITV bosses of staging the contraband debacle, pointing out that having been on the show before all the campmates would be aware of the rules. "Can’t help but think Gillian was told by the producers to smuggle salt in again for the “drama” bc they all know the rules #ImACeleb" argued one viewer.
