She documents her life on podcast Diary, She Wrote. "I’m coming up to my nine-year anniversary of being single and I’ve had so many adventures, both good and bad.
My friends in relationships tell me that they wish they’d had more fun like me when they had the chance and my single podcast listeners often get in touch to let me know I’ve inspired them to enjoy dating, which is lovely.
Being single has made me braver – even just starting the podcast was a big step– and I’ve started doing spoken-word poetry nights.
