The underground fire, which happened close to Manchester Victoria at about 9.20am this morning, caused a loss of power in the city centre and saw the entire Metrolink network suspended.

TfGM say the blaze was believed to have been caused by a 'build-up of gas', with two KeolisAmey Metrolink engineers receiving minor injuries.
