Jennifer Lopez
Jennifer Lynn Lopez (born July 24, 1969), also known by her nickname J.Lo, is an American actress, singer, dancer, fashion designer, producer and businesswoman. In 1991, Lopez began appearing as a Fly Girl dancer on In Living Color, where she remained a regular until she decided to pursue an acting career in 1993. For her first leading role in the 1997 Selena biopic of the same name, Lopez received a Golden Globe nomination and became the first Latin actress to earn over US$1 million for a film. She went on to star in Anaconda (1997) and Out of Sight (1998), later establishing herself as the highest-paid Latin actress in Hollywood.

Howard University To Rename One of Their Colleges After Chadwick Boseman

Chadwick Boseman is being honored by Howard University in a big way. The university will be memorializing the late actor, who passed away from colon cancer in 2020, by renaming one of their colleges after him. Click inside to read more about what Howard University is doing… Howard University made the announcement this week that their College of Fine Arts will be renamed after Chadwick, who actually attended the college. Phylicia Rashad was also just named the dean of the campus.

According to Deadline, when Chadwick was a student there in the late 1990s, he led protests against the HBCU’s plan to absorb the department into the College of Arts & Sciences.
