He is currently the co-presenter of This Morning (2002–present) and Dancing on Ice (2006–2014, 2018–present) alongside Holly Willoughby. His other work for ITV includes All Star Mr & Mrs (2008–2016), The Cube (2009–2015), and 5 Gold Rings (2017–present). Schofield gained national attention working for the BBC, first as a continuity presenter for Children's BBC on weekdays from 1985 to 1987, then as a presenter on the children's Saturday morning magazine show Going Live! between September 1987 and April 1993.

HOLLY Willoughby admitted that she "hasn't stopped crying" as she introduced her newborn niece Mabel live on This Morning. The 39-year-old star shared a photo of the baby, who was born earlier today to her husband Dan Baldwin's brother Dominic and his wife Louise.

Bursting with pride, Holly told viewers: "I just wanted to share with you some lovely news; I have a brand new niece! "Mabel Josephine Baldwin was born this morning at Whipps Cross University Hospital. "Daddy Dominic and mum Louise have both said thank you to the maternity unit there." With a photo of the adorable baby on screen, the bubbly presenter added: "That is Elsie's baby sister! "Mabel, came into the world just a few hours ago - and she is beautiful." Phillip Schofield.
