Holly Willoughby has left fans puzzled after sharing a photo of the script for the Dancing on Ice launch show, showing that new host Stephen Mulhern's name comes before hers.
Holly, 42, returned to social media on 12 January with a photo of the script as she excitedly prepares for her TV return after quitting This Morning in October. The script read: "Dancing on Ice 2024.
Host: Stephen Mulhern and Holly Willoughby. Judges: Ashley Banjo and Oti Mabuse. Commentator Sam Matterface." Fans were left confused after spotting that Stephen's name is printed before Holly's, despite Holly having presented the ITV show since 2006. "Just one question, Holly has presented the show since the beginning, this is Stephens first year so why is his name printed before Holly's," one person commented on Holly's Instagram post. "I thought the same thing," another fan responded, while a third said: "good point!" However, some pointed out that producers may put names in alphabetical order on scripts, meaning Stephen would come first due to his surname being before Holly's in the alphabet.
Holly has not been on television since October, when she quit This Morning. She has signed up to host Dancing on Ice with good friend Stephen, 46, who is taking over Phillip Schofield's role on the ITV show.
