The panel on the ITV show were discussing whether older drivers should be given restrictions on getting behind the wheel at a certain age, or forced to do retests.

It comes as the DVLA said that there has been a 9% increase in the number of road traffic collisions involving the elderly where people lost their lives.

Proposals are now being considered for over-70s to be given restrictions on their licences, which could include being banned from nighttime driving or driving more than thirty miles from home.
