The Government has outlined a list of people considered to be at increased risk of severe illness from coronavirus. These groups should be 'particularly stringent' in following social distancing measures, Public Health England said.
Measures include limiting face-to-face interactions with friends and family, avoiding non-essential use of public transport, working from home where possible and avoiding large gatherings.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson said by next weekend, those with the most serious health conditions must be 'largely shielded from social contact for around 12 weeks'.
