GMP Inspector condemns 'despicable' ambush of Jewish service - and vows to catch those responsible

A GMP Inspector has vowed to catch those responsible for an ambush on a Jewish service. Inspector Glen Rees said the incident, in which Manchester Reform Synagogue's Zoom meeting was hijacked by people showing swastikas and shouting abuse, was 'despicable' and 'completely unacceptable'.

He said 'all lines of enquiry' were being followed to find the offenders, who left worshippers 'shaken' after displaying 'awful racists images' during the Sabbath service.
