Glasgow funding squeeze could wipe out five citizens' advice offices during an economic crisis

The reduction in support could also affect Glasgow North West, Drumchapel and Pollok.Citizens Advice Scotland Chair Rory Mair said shutting offices would be a devastating blow for the "poorest people".He said: "These cuts are short-sighted and will seriously damage the prospects of people in the city just as we enter a period of huge economic uncertainty."It was earlier reported that more than 100 community groups and projects could be turned down because of overwhelming demand for cash grants in the city.
