Gerard Way shares two new unreleased demos, ‘PS Earth’ and ‘Crate Amp_01’

Naman Ramachandran British auteur Peter Strickland is back with his fifth feature, “Flux Gourmet,” and it is as striking and uncompromising as his previous body of work, which includes “In Fabric” (2018), “The Duke of Burgundy” (2014), “Berberian Sound Studio” (2012) and “Katalin Varga” (2009). “Flux Gourmet” world premieres at the Berlin Film Festival’s Encounters strand on Feb. 11.The film follows a sonic collective trio with rocky interpersonal dynamics, who take up residency at an institute devoted to culinary and alimentary performance and have to answer to the institute’s head, who has her own opinions about their work.

The former – White’s first solo album since 2018’s ‘Boarding House Reach’ – is set to arrive first on April 8, with its follow-up set for release on July 22.

Orville Peck has shared the first four tracks from his forthcoming second album, ‘Bronco’, releasing an EP dubbed ‘Chapter 1’ today (February 11).Leading the pack is a smoky, retro-tinged love song titled ‘C’mon Baby, Cry’, which serves as the lead single from ‘Bronco’, and comes alongside a video directed by Austin Peters. Like seemingly every other musician on the planet, the members of the New Jersey post-hardcore institution Thursday recently found themselves wondering how to spend their time. The coronavirus pandemic forced them to cancel all of their 2020 shows, and one member was about to be a father. They got together remotely to make plans for the immediate future. “It was a conversation that started from our own needs and self-interests,” frontman Geoff Rickly said. “But we kept being like, who has money? Our fans are from the same economic background that we are. They don’t have money—they’re probably out of work.”

MCR were scheduled to kick off the trek on March 20 in Melbourne, Australia, then play Sydney the following night before heading to a concert in Auckland New Zealand on March 25. Now, the shows have been pushed back to an unknown date as a result of the global coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
