GENTLEMAN Jack viewers have been left feeling "exhausted" after spotting a big problem with the season two premiere. Fans took to Twitter to complain just minutes into the episode on Sunday night as main character Anne Lister - played by Suranne Jones - was seen jumping from one place to the next in little time.

The season opener caught up with diarist Anne - who is known as the "first modern lesbian" shortly after wedding her wife Ann Walker.

While Ann, played by Sophie Rundle, struggled to go public about her marriage to Lister, cracks began to appear in the relationship.

Meanwhile, Anne's scored ex lover Mariana tried to work her way back into her life with a series of unexpected love letters.
