A Ukrainian band has posted a video to social media asking to be included in the Concert For Ukraine being staged by ITV and STV later this month.The video posted by Antytila addressed Ed Sheeran, who has been confirmed as one of the acts to play the upcoming concert, which will raise monies for the Disasters Emergency Committee’s Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal. Their message to Sheeran was recorded on the streets of Kyiv where the band members – wearing combat gear in the video – are part of the army fighting against the Russian invasion.They stated: “Hello Ed, greetings from Kyiv! We are Ukrainian musicians of the Ukrainian band Antytila – one of the most popular Ukrainian bands with a lot of fans in Ukraine and all over the world. In peacetime, our concerts gather at stadiums.

Sheeran is already set to take the stage alongside many other big-name acts during the March 29 concert at the Resorts World Arena in Birmingham, England.

Hans Zimmer teamed up with Ukraine’s Odessa Opera Orchestra as he kicked off his UK tour at London’s O2 Arena last night (March 22).The film composer began the show with an emotional tribute to his orchestra and all Ukrainians suffering during the ongoing war in Ukraine.“When Covid stopped us from coming here 885 days ago, we booked our orchestra from the Ukraine, from Odessa, and we only managed to get 10 people out… So just welcome them…” he said before he introduced the orchestra, to a standing ovation.Zimmer continued: “One of the things which I thought was remarkable about the people that we did bring back out of the Ukraine, that were left behind from the orchestra, it was a lot of women. The celebrity version of the Great British Bake Off finally returned to screens on Tuesday night and once again it was for a very special cause.

EMMA Willis left Great Celebrity Bake Off fans in hysterics when she accidentally made some X-rated biscuits. The 46-year-old was one of the stars taking part in the first episode of the Stand Up to Cancer specials.

Emma opted to create elephant biscuits as she revealed that she used to make Viennese fingers with her grandmother. As she set about making them - and dropping one on the floor - viewers at home took to social media to comment on their happiness at seeing Emma back on telly.

Sutton Coldfield, impressed the judges with her Viennese biscuits during the signature bake challenge. As Paul offered his hand, she began questioning her abilities.
