Freezing residents at a Paisley sheltered housing complex claim faulty boilers have left them cold throughout winter.Pensioners at Rowan Gardens, which is managed by Renfrewshire Council, say they are regularly forced to wrap themselves in blankets to stay warm as the heating keeps cutting out.The fuming residents say repeated complaints have fallen on deaf ears and they are now demanding a full boiler upgrade.There are 21 flats at the Rowan Gardens site, which was opened in 1995.Isabella Harrigan, 75, has lived at the site for six and half years and says the problems have been going on since she moved in.She told the Express: “The boilers break down on a regular basis.
