The family of a popular restaurant founder who has died have paid tribute and have asked the community to wave as her funeral procession passes.
Jhunu Miaya Dangol helped set up The Great Kathmandu, on Burton Road, in Didsbury, alongside her husband Gopal Dangol back in 1986.
She died on Monday, April 6, surrounded by family following a battle with Alzheimer's, aged 71. Mrs Dangol's funeral is taking place today (April 16), but due to the lockdown restrictions only 15 family members can attend.
