Ayr's main fireworks display has been cancelled following the devastating events of Monday night in Kindaidston.Organisers had been set to welcome thousands through the gates at Ayr Rugby Club for the annual spectacular on Friday, November 5.But following discussions between bosses at Millbrae and South Ayrshire Council, it has been confirmed the event will take a year out.A club spokesman said: "Ayr Rugby have made the decision to cancel their upcoming fireworks night out of respect for the residents of Kincaidston."As a community club, Ayr Rugby feel it is only right to express support to Kincaidston’s ongoing campaign to end fireworks displays whilst they recover from the tragic events of Monday night.
