Manchester Evening News about the confusing eco-friendly heating system that installed in their block of flats two years ago.

Residents have claimed that with the new system their heaters have been taking up to two hours to warm up and, when they do, the heat is not sufficient enough.Furthermore, tenants claim the system prioritises hot water over heating so a shower or long bath could mean drying off in the cold as it’ll take even longer for their heaters to warm up.Salix Homes, who manage the blocks, say the system is fit for purpose and say the issues are occurring because the system is 'not being used correctly.'Residents have been told to not switch off their water or heating pumps as it is controlled from a central point that.
