Family to take on charity challenge with thousands of others in honour of father taken far too soon by cancer

A family from Barrhead is taking on a charity trek in honour of their father who died of cancer.The MacGregor sisters will be pounding the pavements for the Beatson charity, which is an internationally renowned cancer centre and the busiest in the UK in terms of clinical activity and patient numbers as well as being the second largest cancer centre in the UK.Carly MacGregor Grant will be taking on the 10km trek through the West End of Glasgow on Sunday, August 28 alongside her husband 51-year old Iain Grant, Carly's sister Fiona Christie and her husband David Christie who are also from Barrhead, and Carly’s other sister Helen Connor who is from Crawford near Biggar in South Lanarkshire.
