Emmerdale fans think they have figured out a new twist on the ITV soap where Dawn Taylor will set up her ex Alex Moore. Only recently, Dawn's new husband Billy Fletcher sweetly said that he would like to adopt her son Lucas, who she welcomed with ex Alex in 2015.

However, before they could start the application forms, Dawn had to ask for Alex's permission as she and Billy decided to meet him face-to-face to tell him the news.

And despite the newlyweds thinking Alex would say no, they were soon left delighted yet shocked when he agreed to the adoption as they headed home to celebrate the good news.
