It was an eerie Friday afternoon in Kilmarnock as the town faced another day on lockdown. Shoppers followed strict two-meters-apart guidelines as they queued to enter Morrisons whilst the Co-op in nearby Hurlford begun a one-in-one-out policy – only permitting five shoppers in the store at any given time.No one was to be seen at Kilmarnock railway station with ScotRail operating a revised timetable and the streets were deserted as people adhered to advice and stayed home.It was an unusually peaceful John Finnie Street with only a handful of vehicles on the road and shops in the Burns Mall were closed, except for those which were offering essential goods and services.Many offices and businesses are shut until further notice and town centre
