Tiny eight-month-old calf Amara was snapped playing with a specially made Christmas cracker at Edinburgh Zoo.The mischievous calf was carefully watched over by mum Gloria as she played with the treat.Made by visitors who attended the zoo’s Breakfast with the Clauses events, the Christmas crackers are filled with hay and monkey nuts, a firm favourite of the zoo’s hippos.Born at the zoo in April, she was named after the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland (RZSS) asked players of the People’s Postcode Lottery to pick from a shortlist.Delighted keepers affectionately named the little bundle of joy "spud", while they
