An alleged rapist fighting extradition from India to Scotland is trying to get out of jail – so he can care for his mum.Raminder Singh was put on Interpol’s most wanted list in 2012 when he flew off a day after a woman was allegedly raped in Edinburgh in July that year.The 23-year-old woman was found unconscious in the city’s Pilrig Park in a pool of blood with a broken jaw and cheekbone and a broken tooth.Prosecutors are trying to extradite Singh, 32, back to Scotland to face trial.He is also wanted in connection with a serious sexual attack and rape of a 27-year-old woman the previous week.Singh was arrested in 2015 after an international arrest warrant was issued in Scotland.He has been in custody ever since and although his ­extradition
