The unique property, built in the 1830s, is a one of the best preserved mudwall buildings in Scotland and one of the last of its kind.

Erected in the mid-nineteenth century for mill workers, the incredible home is described as a "wee gem".It had fallen into disrepair and was due to be razed to the ground in a demolition.That was until the National Trust stepped in and teamed up with Historic Scotland, the Scottish Government and Angus Council to completely revamp it over four years.It was put up for rent in 2009 and dozens of people applied to live there following the £390,000 restoration.Specialist.
