A much-loved character from EastEnders is now almost unrecognisable from his days on the BBC soap. Charlie Clements, or Bradley Branning as he was best known around Albert Square, left viewers gutted when he exited the show back in 2010.But the 36-year-old actor is now starkly different from his on-screen portrayal as Stacey Slater's love interest.

He bid farewell to the soap more than 13 years ago, appearing from 2006 and raking up several accolades for his performance.Bradley, son of Max and Rachel Branning, and brother of Lauren, Abi, Oscar and Annie, tragically died after falling off the roof of the Queen Vic whilst being chased by a policeman after discovering Archie had raped Stacey and got her pregnant.Actor Charlie has since been making the most of his time away from the BBC soap with some interesting career changes, according to reports in the Mirror.

Charlie spoke to the BBC at the time about his decision to step down from the soap as he said: "I have enjoyed every minute of it, but as an actor I feel that now is the time to move on.

I will always be grateful to EastEnders - I have had the privilege of working with some wonderful people whilst being given some fantastic storylines."Since leaving EastEnders, Charlie continued to secure acting roles on stage and on screen including in the touring production of The Haunting in 2011 and Meredith Oakes’ play Faith.
