Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has updated the online guidance for health professionals carrying out Personal Independence Payment (PIP) assessment activity and for those responsible for the quality of those assessments.
The online guidance outlines various stages of the PIP assessment, including the process, criteria and performance. The DWP advised health professionals that the “main change to this edition of the Personal Independence Payment Assessment Guide (PIPAG) is in part 2” which relates to the assessment criteria.
