Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has confirmed that disabled people could now have a video assessment after rolling out the option across Scotland, England and Wales.
People who have a Work Capability Assessment for Universal Credit or New-Style Employment and Support Allowance or make a new claim to Personal Independence Payment (PIP) or the Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit could be invited for this type of assessment as part of the application process.
