A woman who pranged her Mercedes whilst drunk tried to dodge a drink driving ban by claiming the kerb she clipped was 'too high'.

Isabella Worthington, 23, was found to be over the alcohol limit when police saw her scrape her five door A 200 D AMG vehicle against the roadside near a shopping parade.

But she said she had only clipped the kerb at Parsonage Retail Park in Leigh as it was 'unnaturally high' due to the road being 'under-developed'.
