wedding could still go ahead despite planning permission already being sought to demolish the function suite.The woman spoke to the Lennox Herald last week about her disappointment over the way her booking was handled.She was due to wed her partner last July at the Dumbuck House Hotel but it had to be postponed due to the Covid pandemic.An alternative date for this July was arranged but the couple were left confused when they received a call in February from the venue asking if they would like their money back.The woman told the Lennox Herald: “We just assumed it would go ahead in July.“They had called us and asked did we want to take our money back and just leave a deposit.”The couple say they were told the company wouldn’t be cancelling.
