Love Island star Demi Jones has revealed she will have to take hormones for the rest of her life at just 22 years old, following her cancer treatment.

Demi spoke to fans on Instagram to share the heart-breaking news, after publicly sharing that she is battling thyroid cancer.

She recently shared with fans that she was undergoing an operation to remove a golf-ball sized lump from her neck.The red-haired beauty will need to undergo further treatment to destroy any remaining cancer cells.

She told New! magazine: “I need to go for my second operation, which is this week” She continued: “This is where I'll have my full thyroidectomy to get rid of my thyroid.Then I'll have my iodine treatment, which basically just zaps away any remaining bits of.
