dailyrecord.co.ukGet the stories that matter to you sent straight to your inbox with our daily newsletter.A dedicated mum and selfless health care professional has been recognised by her loving daughter.Ann Owen, a retired health care assistant who now works with the at home service in University Hospital Wishaw, was nominated for our Say It With Flowers award by her daughter, Gillian.Ann, 69, originally from Glasgow, has lived with her husband, George, in Wishaw for over 40 years, and has dedicated her life to working in the health care profession.She latterly worked as a phlebotomist and heath care assistant for NHS Lanarkshire in Coatbridge health centre for a number of years before she retired, and since her retirement has worked for the at home service.
