By Pete Hammond Awards Columnist/Chief Film Critic The fifth annual Deadline Contenders Television is set to take place Sunday, June 7, but this time with a difference.

For the first time in the history of any of our Contenders events whether in Oscar season or Emmy season, it will all be done virtually, with a livestream beginning at 8 AM PT and continuing all day as we gather the best and brightest TV awards contenders all in one place, and all in the comfort of your own home.

The coronavirus pandemic has forced all elements of the industry, including television in its many forms, to re-think how they can best serve the viewers, and Deadline with its hugely popular Contenders events is doing the same thing.

Wilco will play six shows this April to celebrate 20 years since the release of their acclaimed fourth album ‘Yankee Hotel Foxtrot’.The shows, announced earlier this week (February 8), will see the band playing the album in its entirety every night.
