David Martindale insisted he was already over the pain of losing the Betfred Cup just moments after the full-time whistle.And he's called on his Lions to quickly forget about the heartache - because moving on from his own past changed his life.Martindale turned his future around after a stretch in prison and he reckons the West Lothian club will be able to finish the Scottish Premiership season on a high if they don't dwell on the 1-0 defeat to St Johnstone.Shaun Rooney's header clinched the Saints' first ever Betfred Cup and Martindale gave the Perth club plenty of credit after the match.He told Premier Sports: "It's disappointing obviously, you feel like you've let a lot of the fans and the club down."To be honest, it's done, you can't.
