An adorable Scots kitten who was found with a broken back has beaten the odds to make a remarkable recovery.

Millie was found by two members of the public when she was around 12 weeks old and was taken to a rescue centre in Earlston, the Scottish Borders.

Staff at the Borders Pet Rescue Centre immediately noticed she was not walking properly and whisked her off to the vets for an X-ray.

It was soon discovered that she had suffered from a broken spine - thought to have been caused by a car some weeks before - but had adapted to living with the damage.
