Debbie White had popped into Salford Shopping Centre for some last minute essentials around 4.45pm on Wednesday, March 18. Walking through the quieter than usual precinct, she was shocked to see a couple strolling past dressed head to toe in the yellow protective clothing with the man wearing purple plastic bags to cover his shoes for added defences.
Both of the pair had made sure to wear blue rubber gloves over their hands and topped off the outfit with full gas masks covering their faces, which had long grey pipes running out of the front.
