Coronavirus outbreak confirmed at THIRD Ayrshire supermarket

Ayrshire Post , but they would not say how many had tested positive. It is the third supermarket to confirm an outbreak in the town in less than a week.All three of Ayr's biggest stores - Morrisons, Tesco Extra and Asda Ayr - have now confirmed coronavirus cases.

It's believed more than 40 staff are self-isolating between the three shops.The health board insist the risk to the public is "low."Lynne McNiven, Director of Public Health, said: "NHS Ayrshire & Arran’s Health Protection Team is completing contact tracing associated with a retailer in South Ayrshire. "Close contacts identified through this process are being advised to self-isolate for 14 days by the Test and Protect Team.
