Coronation Street cancelled tonight as football continues causing soap schedule chaos

TONIGHT'S episodes of Coronation Street have been cancelled as football causes chaos with the soap schedules. Matches from The FA Cup will see Emmerdale, EastEnders and Corrie moved around all week.

Tonight only Emmerdale will broadcast with the soap airing again the following day alongside EastEnders. And on Friday night there will be hour-long episodes of all three of the main soaps.

Coronation Street will also air a special episode on Sunday to catch-up ahead of the schedule shake-up. From next week all three soaps will begin airing at new times.

Emmerdale will move to a nightly 7.30pm slot - with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
