Cops launch hunt for missing man as concern grows for his safety

Police Scotland say they are becoming 'increasingly concerned' for the safety of a man who was last seen in Rutherglen.James Galbraith was last seen on Stonelaw Road in the town at 2 pm on Monday, 29 August.

He is described as being 5ft 11ins, with short brown hair and blue eyes.Authorities say he was last seen wearing a red short-sleeved checked shirt, dark jeans and black work-style boots.Officers are urging anyone who has seen James to get in contact and assist with their enquiries.

Inspector Karen McColl, of East Kilbride Police Station, said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for the safety of Stephen and are urging anyone who may have seen him, or know where he is, to contact us.
