Contact lenses could prevent the spread of coronavirus because they stop people from touching their face, medics have revealed.
From those working on the frontline to people at home, wearing contacts may be a better option than glasses which often fog up, need wiped or fiddled with throughout the day.
It's now a well-known fact that coronavirus can be transmitted by touching the eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
