College students celebrate university offers
dailyrecord.co.ukArt students at West Lothian College are celebrating as they secure multiple degree offers to move on to university.All 13 students on the HNC course have secured degree offers on courses ranging from graphic design to fashion communication.With less than a five per cent chance of obtaining a place at a specialist art institution the students have beaten the odds to secure their place.On top of that, eight of the students have the option of going directly into year two of their studies at university.This is excellent news for the class in what has been a challenging end to the academic year because of the Covid-19 crisis.Sarah Smillie, who has the choice of all four Scottish Art Schools including two second year options, said: “This course.
