Chloe Ferry has announced the heartbreaking news that her father has passed away following his battle with cancer.The former Geordie Shore star, 26, took to Instagram on Thursday 16 December to share a statement with her 3.7million followers that she will be taking time away from social media 'to come to terms' with his death.

Chloe penned: "I've struggled to write that and I still can't accept what I'm about to say! I'm a very open person and normally happy to share all details of my life, however this is a time where I really need to have some privacy. "I sadly lost my dad after his battle with cancer and it still doesn't feel real!
