A child has been rushed to hospital after being knocked down outside a Scots school this afternoon. Emergency services raced to St Andrew's Primary in Gowkshill, Midlothian, after the accident happened at around 3.15pm on Tuesday, November 2.
A five-year-old boy had been struck by a car on Stobhill Road in the village.The youngster was taken to hospital with what have been described as "minor injuries".Officers say their enquiries into the incident are ongoing.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We received a report of a crash involving a car and a 5-year-old boy in Stobhill road, Gowkshill at 3.15pm this afternoon (Tuesday, November 2)."The child was taken to hospital with what are described as minor injuries, enquiries are ongoing.”
